If the designer is a small business, we will gladly feature the designer's business services as a way to say thanks.<br /><br />Winner determined by: group voting by popular votes (the most votes wins) - voting date scheduled for 11/1/05<br /><br />Logo Submittal Deadline: Sunday 10/30/05<br /><br />How to submit your entry:<br /><br />1) For voting purposes, please submit your logo by a<br />webpage accessible to all - include a link to your logo hosted on your server or free server such as geocities.com, ie:<br /><br /><a class="linkification-ext" href="http://www.dyfferent.com/snowpals">http://www.dyfferent.com/snowpals</a><br /><br />2) Also, please send an attached vector graphic file (use software such as Adobe Illustrator) to <a class="linkification-ext" href="mailto:ski_pal@yahoo.com">ski_pal@yahoo.com</a><br /><br />We'll show a list of all entries for voting purposes by the deadline.<br /><br />Logo Design Goal: a logo with our URL,"SnowPals.org" included to represent SnowPals, a community of Bay Area skiers and snowboarders uniting for fun on and off the slopes and coming together for monthly socials to share tips, to meet activity partners and new friends. Try to incorporate a Bay Area landmark such as the Golden Gate bridge, etc in the logo and snowsports.<br /><br />Nothing too fancy, simple logos such as Nike / Kirkwood is simple, clear, unique and easily recognizable.<br /><br />This logo will be displayed on the group's website and at SnowPals.org functions.<br /><br />Specs: the logo design is for both a print and digital format<br /><br />Print format should be high resolution, a vector graphic file, customizable so that we can enlarge it to fit on a banner, poster, or place it on biz cards, t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.<br /><br />Format for t-shirts:<br /><br />Logo will be design on t-shirts as 1 Color Imprint<br /><br />Please submit logos in the following format:<br /><br />Vector graphisc, use Pantone PMS spot colors when possible, include your PMS color number with your artwork.<br /><br />- COREL DRAW 3.0 TO 9.0, Convert all text to curves. Save file as Corel *.Cdr<br /><br />or<br /><br />- Adobe Illustrator, create outlines. Save file as Illustrator (AI)<br /><br />Terms &amp; conditions: the winning logo once submitted will be the property of SnowPals.org.
